1. What data is kept?
You do not need to create an account to use Minik Adımlar. The information you enter is stored on your device: the baby profile and birth details, growth measurements, the NICU diary, feeding, sleep, diaper, kangaroo care, mood, medication and dose records, vaccinations, screenings and appointments, developmental milestones, the illness diary, milk bags with pumping/usage records, doctor questions and answers, memories, photos and the documents you add.
This information may include personal data belonging to children and health data, which is a special category of personal data. Enter this data only if you are authorised to record and share it.
2. iCloud / CloudKit and family sharing
Family sharing is optional. For the baby you enable sharing for, the profile, care and health records, memories, photos and documents are transferred to Apple CloudKit; the milk stash and doctor preparation are included. Other babies that are not shared are not uploaded to this space. PDFs you create and export are not synced automatically.
Records are kept in the private CloudKit space of the person who started the sharing and are opened to those who accept the invitation within the scope of their permissions; the public database is not used. For syncing, account and participant identifiers, record IDs, version and sharing information are processed. The name or e-mail your Apple account shows in sharing may be visible to other participants. Apple’s iCloud privacy disclosures and the iCloud terms apply; Apple may also process data in data centres outside Türkiye.
3. Backup
From the Backup section in Settings you can back up the records of all babies, including photos and documents, into a single .minikadimlar.json file. If iCloud Drive is on, the file is written to the Minik Adımlar folder in iCloud Drive; if it is off, you save the file to a location of your choice from the share sheet.
If you turn on automatic backup with Premium, the app backs up to iCloud Drive at the frequency you choose and keeps the seven most recent automatic backups; it does not touch the backups you take manually. The backup file is not additionally encrypted by the app and contains health data. Do not share the file with anyone; the security of iCloud Drive depends on the security of your Apple account.
4. Widgets, Live Activity, Siri and notifications
Widgets and the Live Activity timers on the lock screen (feeding and kangaroo care) may show your baby’s name, age, upcoming items, timer information and the memory photos you select. This information can be seen by others on the device’s lock screen; if you do not want this, you can turn it off in iOS Settings.
Siri shortcuts (marking a dose, starting/stopping feeding and kangaroo care) run only when you say so. Voice commands are processed by Apple under the Siri terms; the app does not keep audio recordings. Reminder notifications are scheduled on your device. You can manage photo, camera and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
5. Data processing and sharing responsibilities
The service provider of Minik Adımlar is responsible for the app’s data processing purposes, the scope of sharing, permission controls, security measures and the legal obligations relating to data requests. Apple manages the iCloud account and the CloudKit infrastructure under its own terms; using CloudKit does not transfer the obligations relating to the app to Apple.
The person who enables sharing must be authorised to record and share data about the child, and must control whom they invite and what access they have. View permission allows reading records; edit permission allows changing and deleting them. The processing of health data and its transfer abroad are subject to the applicable legal conditions; any explicit consent required is obtained separately. This text does not constitute consent. 6. Access, retention and deletion
You can edit and delete your records in the app. You can manage sharing, turn it off or leave a share from the Family sharing section. When sharing is turned off, the related CloudKit share space is removed; the owner’s local records are kept. The last local copy of a participant whose access has been removed may remain locked and can be removed separately from the Profile section.
Deleting the app does not automatically delete the CloudKit space, the backups in iCloud Drive or device backups; you can remove these from your iCloud settings and the Files app. Turning off sharing does not recall previously exported PDF/CSV files, backups or screenshots. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed for the request and for legal obligations.
7. Other services
The app uses Firebase Analytics for usage statistics, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports and RevenueCat for subscription status. These services process device and usage information (e.g. app version, device model, screen view and purchase events, anonymous identifiers). The baby’s name, photo, measurement values, health records or notes are not sent to these services. The app shows no ads and your data is not sold.
Payments are processed by Apple; your card details never reach the app. Details: Firebase, RevenueCat and Apple. These services may process data outside Türkiye.
8. Website and contact form
This site uses no cookies, ads or visitor analytics tools; fonts and images are loaded from the site itself. The site is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure; Cloudflare may process technical request information (e.g. IP address) under its own privacy terms.
The name, e-mail, subject and message in the contact form are delivered to us as an e-mail through the site’s own infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Email) so that we can reply. The message is not stored on the server; no third-party form service is used. While relaying the request, Cloudflare may process technical data such as the IP address for a short time; for details see the Cloudflare privacy policy. Do not attach health reports or identity details to the form. Messages are not added to any marketing list.
9. Your rights and how to apply
For your rights to information, rectification, erasure, objection and your other rights under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you can apply to minikadimlar@appidiso.com. Limited information may be requested to verify identity and authority; do not attach an identity document or health file to your first message. Requests are answered within the statutory periods. Requests relating to your Apple account and the iCloud service can also be handled through Apple’s channels.
